Alex the Architect™ is a media, consumer education, and consulting brand. References to “Licensed Architect”, “Real Estate Broker”, and “Mortgage Loan Originator” apply solely to Illinois licensure. All licensed architectural services are provided exclusively through Alexander Patsavas Architecture, Ltd., an Illinois corporation.

In California, residential design and remodel consulting is performed under the DBA “Alexander Patsavas Design Studio,” operating strictly under the exemptions of California Business & Professions Code §§ 5537 and 5538, which allow non-architectural residential design by unlicensed individuals. Our work in California is strictly limited to non-structural residential design and consulting, and we collaborate with separately licensed professionals as required by California law.

We do not practice architecture, real estate, or mortgage services outside of Illinois, nor do we claim licensure in any other jurisdiction. Any construction, financing, or legal information we provide in any context is educational and informational only and must not be interpreted as professional, legal, or financial advice.
